Hello,

I have been seeing this issue since 4.0.2 back in April 06.  In fact, I have been holding off on implementing any sites with this framework hoping that this would be resolved by now.  I have about 20 in the pipeline.  The framework shows so much promise.

I have seen such suggestions as it was a problem with my host.  In fact Brinkster has been brought up by name repeatedly as a hosting company people have problems getting DNN to work with correctly.  The suggestion has to do with how they handle their server farm.  However I have read threads refuting this suggestion.  It was my understanding that Cathal was working on this and expected a work around by the end of August 06.  Well it is still broken.  I will check if the issue has been resolved in the bug database after I post this.

Truth is I don't think anyone knows why this is happening.  But it is consistantly a problem with 4.0.2, 4.0.3 and now 4.3.5.  (I didn't implement any in between versions.)  My office mates have also gotten similar results (frequent log outs) completely independant of my efforts.  They use Brinkster per my suggestion.  That is a common factor.

I also think that not many people are seeing this, otherwise I can almost guarantee no one would be using this framework.  I will be trying to install with another hosting provider to see if that makes a difference.  If any of you have a successful install in production with a hosting provider, please be so kind as to share the name of that company.  I have some business for them.  :)

Thanks,

- Doug

I am getting this problem on 4.3.5, before the upgrade I was running 3.2.2 and everything worked fine.

I am not sure that it has to do with cookies or what, but the short answer to getting it working for the user who needed it was to add the site to the Trusted Sites list in IE.

I'm getting the same thing on 4.3.5, Any news on this issue?  It's really important I get this resolved for my client, he's not happy.

I have this issue in many hosting companies (Brinkster, goDaddy, webSecureStores and more).
Actually, this is my main DNN problem, i think one of the core team
really should get into this bug.

In some hosting i notice that when the user is being logged out
there is application restart entry in the log viewer,
in other cases it is not happening.
The strange thing is that is never happens with firefox...

I'm pretty desperate with this bug.
