If ApplicationBlocks will recognize that as a null value, I think that would probably be the easiest option, but I'm not sure if it would.

I have now my DAL+ with DateTime? instead of DateTime...no sqlDateTimeOverflows anymore! Works terrific! Thanks for the talk!
