the 3.03.04  version of the module which is part of dnn 4.3.5 contains some errors in the sql scripts, which will cause module installation to fail in a db environment where the user used to access the db <> dbo. If you swap out the 3.03.04 version of the module with the just released 3.03.05 version prior to installing / upgrading (modules that will be installed live in the /install/modules folder of your dnn install), upgrade should work fine

I'm having the same issue or at least something similar. I installed a new 03.03.05 portal after which my announcements didn't work. I then noticed the 'upgrade available' icon so I upgraded it. I can now add announcements and they show up correctly but I can not edit them. This is what I see:

Error: Edit Announcements is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Input string was not in a correct format. ---> System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format. at System.Number.ParseInt32(String s, NumberStyles style, NumberFormatInfo info) at System.String.System.IConvertible.ToInt32(IFormatProvider provider) at System.Convert.ChangeType(Object value, Type conversionType, IFormatProvider provider) at System.Convert.ChangeType(Object value, Type conversionType) at DotNetNuke.Common.Utilities.CBO.CreateObject(Type objType, IDataReader dr, ArrayList objProperties, Int32[] arrOrdinals) at DotNetNuke.Common.Utilities.CBO.FillObject(IDataReader dr, Type objType, Boolean ManageDataReader) at DotNetNuke.Common.Utilities.CBO.FillObject(IDataReader dr, Type objType) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Announcements.AnnouncementsController.GetAnnouncement(Int32 ItemId, Int32 ModuleId) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Announcements.EditAnnouncements.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

My current annoucement version is 03.03.05.

Hi,

I have a working 4.3.5 portal (except for this module). Do I need to delete the 3.03.04 version then install the new one? Or do I just copy the new version over the old one on my site?

Thanks In Advance,
Arden Robinson
