Hi Francisco,

I have downloaded the last buld, but it do not contains more information. Now I search inside their forum!

Thanks,

Gilles

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Hi Francisco,

I'm trying to do exactly what you wrote in your post last year, but it's not working at all for me.  Are you aware of anything that's changed since then that might cause this solution to stop working?  Any other ideas?

Thanks,

Marty

hello Francisco

I'm also trying to do a very similar thing: for restricting each user to view his/her relevant directory. I'm very new to DNN at the moment. I was just testing this in a test module. I made a control Tester.ascx in which I have the TextEditor control. I've put in the code for Page_Init method that you've mentioned and for now I'm just trying to get it to open a particular directory I made at Website\Portals\0\testdirectory

            UserController userCtrlr = new UserController();
            UserInfo user = userCtrlr.GetUser(PortalId, UserId);
            texteditor1.Application["FCKeditor:UserFilesPath"] = Page.ResolveUrl("~/Portals/0/testdirectory"); /*and used this  Application["FCKeditor:UserFilesPath"] = Page.ResolveUrl("~/Portals/0/testdirectory");*/

but its not working. Can you please tell me where you wrote this code. Btw, I'm using DNN 4.9
