I noticed your mention of the "Don't Make Me Think" book by Steve Krug.  I am so glad you did.  This is a MUST READ for all developers on all platforms.  If you haven't read it yet, you are doing you, your company, and your products a disservice.  Stop all development and read it now.  It is a quick read, and the value you will get out of it is immeasureable.

Agreed - the book follows the advice given in the book (KISS). I am applying my findings to PokerDIY (if you look at past versions you can see it was designed by a developer ;) and monitoring my results in Google Analytics. I have a long way to go still (for example - take the number of words on a page, halve it, and then halve it again) but my bounce rate is lowered and time spent on time is up (tried to bring important things to the front of the navigation and push less used things back). Common Sense I suppose but that book is good!
