go to advanced settings, and for portal, module and instance scope remove the settings.

Another option would be removing settings from HostSettings, ModuleSettings and TabModuleSettings tables in the database.

I tried using clear on portal, module and instance but I still see errors.

I am also not sure about the host option!! When I go to host settings I do not see any module settings? Did you mean to the database and manually remove it?

if it doesn't help to clear the settings, you need to do it in the database.

but be careful, start with a backup!

So I will need to make change in all 3 tables? Wondering what is the default values. Do I need to compare with another install and compare? Or is there an easier way?

FCKEditor Values  are easily identificable by Settingsname, they use a pattern like "###FCK###..." and you simply delete these rows.
