I am having the same type of issues.  It does seem to be a bit of a learning curve but I thought DNN was too.  Now that I'm learning it... it really rocks!  So, will this map module enable me to select an address and display it?  I just want a simple map for my church's website.  I guess I can use the Text/Html module as an alternative and paste the google script right?

thx,
seed

I have the same problem also.

I have to say this module is the most most most not user friendly in All core modules AND 3rd parties modules...

Really Really can't get any useful guidance and support....wasted 2 hours...and went to buy jet key smart map...

I totally agree, is there someone that can help on this? maybe provide a guide that that does it step by step with the different secnarios. I've done it so many times from scratch and it just doesn't work - doesn't import the users. Maybe an issue wiht GoDaddy and the trust level? Thoughts anyone, I assume (correctlyu?) that I"m not the only one?

I found an associated thread that helped me solve my problem.

On the Interface page, the Rich Text editor was not parsing the description of my primary data point correctly.  I changed to the Basic editor, fixed the HTML code (the line break tag was missing) and all was well.

No more "loading" on the bottom of the module.

Now if only the data points could be listed next to the displayed map...

Does the JetKey module still exist? I have emailed the owner but no reply - there's such a gap here for a supported maps module.

I've asked for a comparison on the Map modules here if anyone has used more than one and also here is my thread proposing something be done about the lack of support for this great core module. Also, if anyone knows how the core team update their Groups map when new ones are added...

Rodney,

The JetKey module is now SmartMap - smartmap.jetkey.com. I was emailing back and forth with JetKey about upgrading and migrating data from my JetKey installation.  Not sure what I will do yet.
