I guess the issue is that "What's New" is not developed any more (i.e. not supported I presume).

This is why I am trying to get someone to propose a replacement for it via the Reports module.

I don't have all the skills required to do it myself, so I will really appreciate if anyone can contribute the solution.

This may be helpful not only to me, but to may others such as chammock that have relied on the What's New module so far. As an enhancement it would be nice to have this capability for all searchable modules, or dedicated to a specific module.

Many Thanks on advance to whoever will answer this challenge.

I would be interested in this as well!

Was a solution for this problem ever found?

I am currently using the Top 10 Last Forum Posts but a site wide whats new would be preferable

I LOVE the pinned post the Andrew Nurse has with sample reports that others have done and would love to see what was suggested put on that thread. The What's new module is nice but even if it is showing the events from the calendar, if you go in and change the description, it doesn't update that on the what's new thread. I was searching for clues on that when i stumbled on this thread. I barely know SQL to be dangerous "Update * in DNN_roles where" but i have no idea what each of the tables are and how they relate. One thing i have never found for DNN was a detailed table definitions word/pdf document.

As a side note, is that the last 10 posts for forums the module offered from DNNForums.com (Chris P's site). Apparently Chris was editing his site before he went on Walkabout down under (maybe hunting for Matt Lowery?  ) So people have been asking to get that extension. Apparently no one has offered it elsewhere so we all anxiously await. If this is the code, can you ship me a copy (if you hav ethe install?)
