Oki, same problem. Is there any solution? Development environment no redirect, test environment no redirect, but on production server dnn redirects to the home tab.

Hi.

In case someone still wonders adding a tabid parameter to your handler call fixes this.

seems to be a problem with the dnn url rewriter.

The site I got this on was a multi-portal website.

FYI this is behaviour by design - all .net mapped extensions are intercepted by the urlrewriter. Whilst some (such as asmx/axad) are ignored, we have to assume a .aspx is a page request and should be rewritten - if we cannot find the page name and it does not contain a tabid or pageid, then we will automatically expire the users roles cookie as it appears to be a change of portal. To work around this either include the tabid or portalID and then the urlrewriter can see it is a request within the same portal and will not expire the cookie (causing the user to be logged out) or redirect.
