Has anyone tried to apply the information in Philip Beadle's blog titled Update to Logging in to DotNetNuke from a Silverlight Application with RIA Authentication, URL http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/B... to the new Silverlight Business Application template from VS2010 with SL4 and the latest RIA Services? Any help would be much appreciated! I'm using DNN 5.4.1, .NET4, SL4 and VS2010. So far I have adapted the default Silverlight Business Application to use a RIA Services class library.
I would attach the code I have so far but I can't figure out how to do it on this forum.

Have I posted in the wrong forum? The lack of any response has me wondering if it should be in the Module Developers forum?

Jack, did you ever get help with this?
If so, can you point me toward any other posting/resource?

I'm seeking help on retrieving data from a table in DNN from my SL App using RIAServices.
Using DNN 5.4.4, vs2010, SL 4.0

Tried the Michael Washington examples but references break and it just seems incompatible with my WAP projects...
Once I have a RIAService set up, I'm not even sure how to tie that into DNN so that my SL app can hit it via a WCF RIA Services link.

Thanks

Just to elaborate on what I THINK I've realized...

DNN targets .Net framework 3.5
The new WCF RIA Services version 1.0 is built targeting .Net 4.0
The RIA Services used in Michael Washington's samples is the beta version I believe.

There are many breaking changes from Beta to v1.0
Tying a RIAService (built using the latest v1.0) into DNN breaks as they looking at two different .Net framework versions.

So, where to go from here...

If anyone else has 5cents worth to contribute of advice if I'm on the wrong track, feel free!

Thanks

No, I have not figured this out yet nor have I got any other response. I keep checking Philip Beadle's blog but he seems to have not yet looked at SL4. I do have my DNN site running on a .NET 4 app pool and I do have the shell of a Silverlight Business App module but I can't get the authentication or role membership info from the DNN core to work with the new RIA services. I would have thought that there might have been more of an interest in the DNN community on this topic, but the only info I could find reguarding Silverlight Business Applications w/RIA services and authentication in DNN was Philip Beadle's work, unfortunatly it was done on SL3 with the old RIA framework and I can't get it working with the new stuff. If anyone comes across any good information please let me know!
