Hi,

I am having the same issue as well, telerik datepicker icon is missing if dnn texteditor is added. Once i removed dnn texteditor control, the datepicker icon is showing.

It is a hassle to configure telerik radtexteditor in dnn.

Anyone has any fix or workaround?

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

I have just generally switched to using the dnn wrappers when available. Unfortunately, DNN didn't make a DNN skin for the telerik controls (which I think better follows Telerik's model), they replaced the default skin... so, you end up with less flexibility than you had before. I think it's the default skin problem that actually causes the other telerik controls to break too. That happens because they're inheriting some things from the default DNN css.

I think what it comes down to is a fundamental flaw in DNN: a Web Browser simply is not a Document Editor. Obviously there is a need for multi-line text editors, but when you start adding WSYWIG and toolbars and ribbons and other stuff, it gets out of control. Document editing should be done using appropriate tools. When inline editing is required it should be kept to a minimum; we don't want a half-baked copy of MS Word running in a browser. A simple Markdown interface like StackOverflow works well enough.
