hi i m new to DNN. create one page with view rights to admin. this page contains grid with edit and delete. code is okay but the thing is that if i login as a host and open this page with view mode selected and if i click on edit button then also it is not redirect to edit page instead of that if i select edit mode from top and click on edit button it redirect to other page and working very well. I think it must work in view mode bcoz when i give this page to my client admin, he will view this page and can edit as well. but in view mode it is not work for edit content of page. I want functionality that admin (client ) can view page but only insert or update content of page not other settings like skin and other. Plz help me . Thanks in advance, Amit - Beginner.

Actually I have create on Category Master Module and added in my page, this module should have permission to by default as Edit mode. i dont want to show control panel (top bar) to users even my Category Insert/Update should work.

Curretly I select Edit mode manually then it's working fine for me. I want it to work in view mode and doesnt want to show top control panel. see below image.

 

AFAIK controls are active in edit mode only.
