Good morning,

I have installed DNN and created a new portal (parent), but when I go to switch to the site, it loads the IIS7 splash screen. the DNS points to the web server, and I have added the host headers. I must be overlooking something (probably quite simple). Windows 7... full version sql2008.

TIA

Pete

does it show default IIS page from your server (does ping show proper IP address)? is the web site running?

Yes... the site is up and I can ping the server (with the firewall disabled), and it returns the iis welcome screen when I switch to the new portal.

Yes, in the default website in IIS under bindings I added the hosts www.islandgraphix.com and islandgraphix.com, and added the aliases in the dnn site.
