I am currently running DNN 5.6.0 and shortly after upgrading from DNN 4.6.? I have lost access to the Host Setting Page.  Clicking on Host does nothing.

Prior to the discovery of this problem I install a new skin from DNNCovered (Business Suite Skin).  Neither my hosting provider (PowerDNN) nor the skin developer (DNNCovered) can offer any solution to the problem.  They can only suggest I blow away the entire portal and start over.  Obviously, I don't want to do that.

I would appreciate hearing any thoughts on what could have caused this problem and what action could be taken to fix this.

please check tabs table in the database, whether the pages are still listed with proper paths. There is a known bug in DNN 5.6, if you edit a host pagesettings it will move the page out of the tree, if you edit host root settings, it will hide the whole menu. you need to go to your database, table tabs and make sure that PortalID is null for all rows where TabPath is starting with "//Host". Big slap on the wrist to powerdnn support for suggesting something as stoopid as telling you to delete your site and start again.
