Is there anywhere that I could find a list of the styles that come with DNN?  I'm looking for a list of their names - better yet what they are usually used for but I'd be satisfies with their names.

Hi.

Below you will find a list of the CSS files for a fresh installation of the DNN 5.6.1 without additional modules (like blog, wiki, etc).

If you want a full list, you can install it with all modules and search *.css

Unless I'm modifying a given module, the files that I usually modify are:
~/portals/default.css
~/portals/portal.css
~/portals/_default/skins/myskin/skin.css

Thank you.  This is very helpful information.  I have another question though.  I'm using DNN 5.  I did a view source on one of the pages to see what style was used on the standard breadcrumb trail. It uses a style called 'breadcrumb'. The only place that I'm seeing a reference to that in a stylesheet is in the skin.css associated with the MinimalExtrophy skin that I happened to add to the site. I'm using the portal default skin for the page.  And when I look in the stylesheet associated with the portal I don't see a style called 'breadcrumb' either. I was attempting to keep the styles that I'm using in the module I'm writing consistent with the rest of the DNN installation but now I'm concerned that the at least the 'breadcrumb' style is not actually a standard style.

Any Ideas?

the breadcrumb control is a skin object, you can read about them on the wiki http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/tabid/1409/Page/Skin-Objects/Default.aspx - the first link is to the documentation - in general all skinobjects support a CssClass property so you can specify you own styles in you want. I also recommend the tremendous online skinning reference at http://www.thinkofdesign.com/resources/dotnetnuke-skinning-reference/ . Finally, the wiki has some stuff worth reading http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/tabid/1409/Page/Skins/Default.aspx , http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/tabid/1409/Page/Skinning_best_practices/Default.aspx and http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/tabid/1409/Page/Stylesheets/Default.aspx
