NB here, trying to make a page list some registered user (subscriber) info on a self-printable "membership card" ala the following:

SID MEMBER CARD
User: [USER:USERNAME]
First [PROFILE:FIRSTNAME] Last [PROFILE:LASTNAME]
Address1 [PROFILE:STREET]
Address2 [PROFILE:CITY], [PROFILE:REGION] [PROFILE:POSTALCODE][PROFILE:COUNTRY]
Join Date: [PROFILE:JOIN_DATE] Paid Thru Date: [PROFILE:PAID_THRU_DATE]
Chapter: [PROFILE:CHAPTER] Member Type: [PROFILE:MEMBER_TYPE]

It seems to work, but the problem is the user can then edit the info, on a page with lots of buttons and other confusing stuff.  (My users are mostly Ph.D's, but they are hardware PhD's who want very simple GUI's)

Is there a way to eliminate the "Edit Profile" button, or axe all the nasty buttons on the right side of the page (etc) within it?  If not, is there some other way I can get this data out of the dbase and display it on the page without enraging my sensitive and ofttimes volatile users with extraneous content?

Thanks in advance!

if you hide sub pages, they will no longer be listed in the menu on the right hand side.

You can create your own module to pull and display the data. I do that on my company intranet site.

Thanks Sebastian...but how would I do that?   I'm assuming you aren't referring to child/parent page relationships; this page is a child reporting to a parent page which is shown on the horizontal navbar...I've gone through a bunch of blogs and done searches for how to hide subpages to no avail thus far....

Thanks, if I could do that in production without risk to the site ala an html site, I'd try altering the vb or c# code to see if I could eliminate the button displayed at the bottom of the module...or maybe I'd try writing it from scratch.  However I had an awful time installing all the virtual server type tools for Java for Apex coding in salesforce.com----it was the tools not the code which was an impasse, so I'm hesitant to go 'all-in'
