I set up a mobile site m.mysite.com with the DarkKnightMobile skin.

I am not Including any pages in the Menu.

Nothing shows on the page when I am working on my laptop BUT on my iPhone a Menu button shows (but of course doesn't link to anything) and on Droid the a greyed out version of the Menu button shows.

How can I delete that button?

thanks Stephen

The control of the elements shown is based on the media queries -see Portals\_default\Skins\DarkKnightMobile\skin.css . There are 2 defined (one for screens between 768 and 2560 pixels i.e. desktop), and one for screens with a max-width of 480 (i.e. small tablets/mobile). If you use the built in browser tools (i.e.press F12) you should be able to identify what the button id is and tweak the media query (i dont have in installed locally but a glance at the menu definition suggests it's the dnnPEM-NavFirst element)

The problem is that the menu button doesn't show up on my computer so I can find the element name.

If I look up  dnnPEM-NavFirst in the css as suggested I see 17 incidents.  I don't this I should just delete them all.  If you haven't guessed, I am very new to this.

Any other suggestions?  Thanks in advance!

Hi Stephen,

You can find a class called a.navTrigger in skin.css file of Skin/DarkKnightMobile folder. You can make this css class display property to none in order to hide it.

You can reduce your browser width in order to see that menu button on your desktop.

Thanks

Thanks Sibabrata. that was helpful.

I made the changes in the skin.css and uploaded them but it didn't change it. The Menu button still show.

The changes I made:
a.navTrigger, a.navTrigger:link, a.navTrigger:visited{display:none;width:26.315789473684%;/* 200/760 */margin-top:2%;text-shadow:0 1px 1px rgba(120,120,120,0.9);

what am I doing wrong?

the site is m.mikeleonardsplumbing.net if you can check it out?

thanks Stephen
