Hi Jim
There are 2 ways you can do this in dnn.
1. Go to admin > Event viewer. Filter the log based on the value in type dropdown.
2. GO to admin > site log. Filter the log based on report type dropdown and in the date range.

Thanks,
Sunil Kumar [ DNN Developer, Mindfire Solutions,India ]

Thank you. If my site log is working properly, how would I go about exporting the data for a spreadsheet or report?

You can use module that has that capability, like ActionGrid or SQLGridSelectedView. Run the report, download as CSV.

You may be able to run a sql query in excel to populate the spreadsheet.

I'm confused. The data I want displays correctly in the Site Log, but I have no way to export it. I'm essentially trying to find out which users actually log in to the site (there are around 650 registered users). Is it possible to export the information to an e-mail or spreadsheet format?
