I just noticed my Windows 7 system upgraded IE to v10.  Our sites login button after you input credentials doesn't work and I have to crank the browser back to IE9 mode to get logged in.  Then in IE9 mode the body content goes blank and I have to switch back to IE10 to operate the site?  WTF, Microsoft.  It seems like you'd have to try to be this bad.

Anyone else seeing issues with IE10?

Thanks,  Dave

Does your site use standards compliant HTML & CSS? If so, you shouldn't be having any issues with IE10.

I've got ~50 sites running and none have any issues specifically due to IE10.

I strongly recommend taking a look at the HTML/CSS as I suspect this is where the issues arise from.

No, Anna, it is not just that; here is an incomplete list of issues which makes us think the Microsoft must have done it on purpose to screw their own products (after all dnn belonged to them):

1. Solpartmenu and MLMENU do not work (there may be others) to the point that the whole menu is invisible. A few containers action menus as have issues too.

2 Postback issues with .net 4 (I think this is related to the login problem): http://www.hanselman.com/blog/BugAndF...
Requires an hotfix and an upgrade to net4.5, at least this is how we fixed it.

3. On some specific dnn 6.1.x versions the above is not enough, one has to set the IE9 compatibility flag in web.config.

4. Other small things I now cannot remember...

To summarize: a nightmare.

One more: users on a dnn 5.6.8 site with catalook could not update quantities of articles on IE10, could only buy one article. Some sort of incompatibility with ajax and interpetation of integer vs. real numbers... :-(

Umm MS do not own DNN.

Solpart menu is obsolete and has been for some time.

Also, this issue is discussed here in a blog
http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Blogs/cid/152757/DotNetNuke-6-and-Internet-Explorer-10.aspx

and here in the forums.
http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Forums/forumid/118/threadid/470893/scope/posts/threadpage/1.aspx

Hope this helps.

Ian
