Hi, I have been having problems with this too. Logged in as Host, Modules/Find more extensions/Purchased Extensions. this shows my recently purchased Articles Extension but under the heading of Deploy it says N/A. So what do i do now? i have uploaded the unzipped files using ftp, I have created a database, but have no idea what the next step is.
I would be grateful for any help

FWIW if you are using a skin that is set up with proper action objects on its containers.

Login as host.
Host->Extensions
Scroll down to the bottom of the Module window
And you will see all the module actions listed.

 Install Extension Wizard   Create New Extension   Create New Module  

---->

The other method - and the one I actually prefer is to upload ALL your modules using FTP and place them in the /Install/Modules folder on your  website.

The login as host
Host->Extensions
Select Available Extensions Tab
Expand the Modules list
The module you uploaded to the /Install/Modules folder will be listed as Available to install.
Click Install and follow the steps.

Thank you for your reply. I followed the first procedure you mentioned but initially it did not work. I am going to explain what happened because it might be useful to others. The reason it didn't work was that I had previously uploaded by ftp the files but had not put them in the /Install/Module folder. I went to File Manager and uploaded the file from there and went back over the procedure to install and it worked fine.
I like better your suggestion to ftp the file as this is a faster way, now I know which folder to put the file in it will be much easier in the future.
Thank you very much for an excellent solution.

Same question for me. At MS we used to post; "how to do familiar things in NEW ways" because the OLD way wasn't available with the upgrade.

How do we INSTALL a module to DNN while logged in as the HOST?

 Go to HOST -> Extentions and move your mouse to top-left of Extentions list module. Then you can see "Install Extentions wizard".
