No I did not change anything in Host settings.

Is this probably something I have done or is it a problem in this release version that wil be resolved at a later time???

I just want to be sure I did not mess it up.   LOL

THANKS for your frequent and EXCELLENT help.  It makes DNN a much better product!!!!!!

Hi, I would like to contribute to this issue.

Running 6.2.1 locally

These are my RadEditor settings:

MakeUrlsAbsolute: unchecked
Enable Relative URL Links: checked

In the Hyperlink Manager I insert
- a link to a pdf
- a link to an internal page

This is how the HTML looks like before saving:

...
<a href="/mysite/Portals/0/pdf/Brochure_2011.pdf">
...
<a href="http://localhost/mysite/News/test.aspx">
...

After saving and going into the Editor again I get this HTML:

...
<a href="/mysite/Portals/0/pdf/Brochure_2011.pdf">
...
<a href="//News/test.aspx">

The first link is working, the second is not.

Would expect the same behaviour for inserting a link to a pdf and to an internal page.
But obviously this is not happening.

<a href="http://localhost/mysite/News/test.aspx">
should be:
<a href="/mysite/News/test.aspx">

Can anyone help?

Thanks
Peter

I am having exactly the same problem.

I can create to an extrenal hyperlink and it works but if I create a link to a page on the site it gets truncated to //pagename.aspx

It is almost like it is truncating it to create a relative URL but never manages to recover it.

Any suggestions?

This is an issue in 6.2.1 and 6.2.2 if your site is installed under a "subfolder" More information here http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/V...
