I'm new to using version 7, so forgive my ignorance. I want to completely remove a module. It is shown in the extensions display, but i can't figure out a way to have it un-installed. (It is not used anywhere)

you need to enter module definitions and might need switching to/from edit mode.

thanks, but i cannot find any pages that deal with module definitions other than the extensions page. It does not give me any options to remove an installed module, at least i can't find anything there.

Hans,

You'll need to be logged in as host user and go to Host-->Extensions, NOT Admin-->Extensions. Look for the trashcan icon all the way to the right for those modules which allow deletion. Some modules such as Journal, Member Directory, etc. that are embedded in the platform code cannot be deleted.
