you should only install navigation providers, if your skin needs it - and it should be same version as your DNN (most of them are so longer supported in DNN 8).
The DNN Connect CKEditor provider is new default provider in DNN 8, but I would be careful, using it in DNN 7 (I still prefer the one from Watcher.Net (dnnckeditor.codeplex.com).
TurboDNN does not modify Catalook table structure, it just tries to enable all defined foreign key constraints. I just uploaded an updated version which handles this a bit more effectively for core tables, but I stay away from correcting data inconsistencies in 3rd party tables.

I finally finished migrating my DNN installation and spent some time trying to diagnose the mysterious problem that prevents me from adding modules to my pages.
The only module that gets added to any portal in my DNN installation is the Banner module UNLESS I use the Dark Knight Skin.
The Dark Knight skin is the only skin that allows me to add modules to my pages. This is puzzling and I can't figure out why this is happening.
Anyone has any suggestions or possible solutions to my problem?
So far, each and every time I had to add a module I had to temporarily change the page's skin to Dark Knight, add the module and then change the skin back to what it originally was.
It works, but it's a pain in the neck.
Anyone experienced the same issue and solved it?

Thanks

While I'm at it, I just found out another weird behavior of the Modules tab.
The only pane I could select from the module dropdown was the ContentPane. If I selected anything else the module pane would reload and I would find the Banner module selected and the ContentPane as the destination pane. This kept happening no matter what I selected.

I tried changing the Host settings so that DNN would use the Controlbar instead of the Ribbonbar I was using (the controlbar was not working when I last tried) but after I installed the DNN Navigation provider I found in the Available Providers this afternoon, the Controlbar seems to be working fine and I managed to add the module I wanted to the page.

Looks like I solved the issue after all.

you might have been using an old version of one of the navigation providers, which conflicts with JS of the skin or DNN framework.
