Wah!
Reading renatos solution again I see its to the source vb.

AFAIK this is not an installed file but one that would need compiling ?

Anyway this seems to mean that I cannot do this ?

Point: This is a pretty serious fault as it means the events module is not really of any use to anyone outside the US.

Hi Betacam,

You can run a module in uncompiled/dynamic mode!

If you have DNN4.x installed you first need to convert the Events 3.3.8 source code, because the source code you can download is for DNN3.x (ASP.NET 1.1). To to so follow DSlage's great instructions to convert the source code to ASP.NET 2.0 (DNN 4.x).

To run the module uncompiled make sure you delete these two dlls in the DNN4 /bin folder (if the module was already installed):
- DotNetNuke.Modules.Events.dll
- DotNetNuke.Modules.Events.SqlDataProvider.dll

Then you can modify the EventWeek.ascx.vb.
Or let me know your email and I'll send you my code!

Cheers
Renato

HI Renato

Thanks for picking up this so quickly and for the instructions.

I could probably do this but you know how it is with time - you give it an hour and it takes 3.
For this reason I would very much like to take you up on your kind offer of fixed code.

Thanks very much.
