Hi again Roger,

Sorry, I've just realised I omitted a vital piece of information! That is, that the Copy Event function does actual work insofar as it copies the event correctly. It's just that we get this error message. So if I ignore the error and back up some, I can find the newly-created copy in the calendar and work with it without problem.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

Chris

Hi Chris,

Can you document the exact steps you are taking, and post the exact error from your eventlog. I currently can't duplicate, which is something of a suprise!

Thanks
Roger

Just as an fyi, I have installed a new DNN 4.9.4 site, and installed Events 5.0.1 on it. I've created a new event with just a reminder set, because you appeared to have one enabled. I've then copied this event. It all seems to work fine.

One thing I noted on the record you posted above, it has no Reminder and Notify values set, which suprises me. Not sure whether this is planned and you have deleted when adding the event, or whether you have deleted in the relevant template.

Cheers
Roger

Hi Roger,

Thanks for your note. On the Reminder and Notify values, do these fields hold the corresponding mail templates for reminders and notifications? If so, I removed these when adding the event because they were quite lengthy and I wanted to keep the SQL outputs above as tidy as possible.

We also have another 4.9.4 site running Events 5.0.1 and that one works fine! Not sure what's happened to this one...! :-/

Cheers

Chris
