I did as you suggested. I went into Host -> Module Definitions, clicked the pencil next to Events, and for every Module Control listed, I un-checked the Supports Partical Rendering box if it was check-marked. There was not a module control labelled "Events Module", but I checked Events, Categories, Day, Details, Edit, Locations, Moderate, PPEnroll, Settings, TemplateHelp, and TZUPdate as well as an entry at the top that didn't have a description. I still have the same problem. I tried this on another computer in my office (a laptop) running IE8 8.0,6001,18702 and did not have the problem. Toggled the Compatibility Mode button and it didn't make a difference. It still worked. Tried on computer running IE 8.0.7600.16385. It had the problem, but as soon as she clicked the "Compatibility Mode" button, it worked OK. I will continue to troubleshoot. There has to be something in the IE settings that is causing this problem.

Thanks for your efforts in troubleshooting. If you manage to come up with a scenario I can replicate, then I can hope to deal with what is causing the issue.

Thanks again
Roger

There must be something different about how these PCs are set up because I don't have a problem on the site linked here. Can you try turning off 'Partial Rendering'. Go to Host/Module Definitions. Then edit the Events module, then edit the Events module control, untick 'Supports Partial Rendering' and then save out...

Cheers
Roger

By the way I meant Events 'module control' not 'Events module' control. What I failed to notive is that it is the one with not control name. The title for it is 'Events Container'. Should be the top one. Changing the other wil have no impact on the Month View.

Cheers
Roger

Well, I could not figure this out.  Laptop computer works fine, desktop computer does not.

I upgraded my desktop computer from IE7 to IE8.  It's now running the exact same version as the laptop (8.0.6001.18702).
Both computers are running Windows XP Version 2001 Service Pack 3.
I tried starting IE with add-ins turns off (on both computers).  Works on laptop, doesn't work on desktop.
I uninstalled all the Adobe plug-ins on the desktop (because when I looked at System Info, one of them said "damaged").  Desktop still has the problem.
Reinstalled all the Adobe plug-ins (Reader, Flash, Shockwave) on both computers.  Works on laptop, doesn't work on desktop.  (Note: rebooted computer after every uninstall/reinstall.)
Tried setting all IE security settings to low; no help.  Set everything back to defaults; no help.  Did everything on both the desktop and laptop to be consistant.  I figured if I changed something on the laptop and it stopped working, then it might give me a clue.

I can't figure out the difference between the laptop and the desktop computer (other than hardware) that is causing this problem to happen on the desktop but not the laptop.  I will just tell our user to use FireFox, or just stick with displaying the current month.

Seems like a madness. I can't believe it is doing anthing differently at a code level, but you never know. If you do figure it out, post here and I'll get on to it.

Cheers
