No the functionality has not changed. The mapy url is set via the Edit Location page available in the module menu.

Visual Studio is the Microsoft development environment in which DotNetNuke and the Modules that run in it are designed and programmed. Whilst you could make changes to the code without it, I personally wouldn't recommend it.

The module currently provides a drop-down list of locations which are portal wide. I believe there is a request on CodePlex to provide a more flexible mechanism, which we are considering for future releases. Please feel free to add your requirements and votes to that request.

Thanks Roger. I appreciate your help, I'm an absolute noob, and I'm trying to take as much of this 'in house' as I can. I'm having trouble telling the events to show the custom fields at the moment, but I'll keep looking (thank god for the test site) and see if I can fix it there. I've check out the codeplex too. thanks.

To get the custom fields to show, you need to tick the appropriate tick boxes in the Custom Field settings area of the Events Settings. Cheer, Roger
