Yep. I'm updating the template (or reseting as the case may be) when tweaking the template settings. I'm using the "Update Settings" if I tweak the RSS settings.

The page is a hidden test page that is being fed from the calendar on a public viewable page:

http://www.kenthouse.org/site/RSSTest/tabid/91/Default.aspx

No matter what I put in the template settings and/or the rss feed settings this is the display I get. I've even just replaced the template with "This is a test" and the feed doesn't change.

Also, this test page uses the "Feed Burner" from Coding Staff with "MaxNumber" added to the URL Query String. But, the core DNN News Feeds module shows the same behavior.

Thanks for checking it.

"I notice Chrome has no built in support for RSS! I guess I'm kinda suprised on that.... Don't know if that has anything to do with your problem."

Yep. I noticed the same thing. But I would think that the news feed module wouldn't really care. It's reading the RSS content directly from the source. I did check another site I manage that has the DNN core news feeds module pulling content from a News Release module and it works using Chrome. So, that being the case, it must have something to do with the events module outputting the feed?

Here is the site that the news feeds module works in Chrome (the home page labeled "News Articles":

Thanks again!

The resolution of this has come down understanding how the settings work. There is a link in one of the posts at the top of this forum to the module documentation, which gives some details on all the settings.

I believe in the end that Jim will not use the news feed module to create his display, but use another instance of the events module configured to show an upcoming events list. An example of how to do this is shown here - http://dnnevents.codeplex.com/wikipag...

Cheers

That's true. I took Rogers advice and used a secondary incidence of the Events module that accessed the primary calendar using the "sub-calendar" feature. I have it up and running and it works great.

Thanks again for all of your help Roger!

Jim
