Minor followup. I clear the log file and then entered the Events Module, while I still have the same failures, no events are logged.

I've just set up a new DNN 5.6.5 and installed Events 5.2.0. All seems fine. I can't immediately see anything in an upgrade from 5.1.4 to 5.2.0 (which would include an upgrade to 5.1.5) that should cause a fundamental problem. Have you tried the module on a page with the DNN default skin and no other modules?

Yes. I've tried multiple skins including the default. Same issue. It just occured to me that the field validators for user profile fields are not firing either. I've been working my way through 35 pages of the configuration forum and so far nothing pops out. Another note, the delete event always fires the popup and then functions correctly. I, like you from the question, do believe it is a scipting conflict. I just cant find it. :)

You are going to think I'm nuts but ... these have to be related. Field validators only fire (operate correctly) for non administrative users. I am now trying to test the events module against a non administrative user for the view options.
