AFAIK the internatinalization team is working on a sort of repository for all types of DNN language packs.
In the mean time, i would be fine to give a try to make language packs for particular versions of Events available as download in the Events download page on CodePlex. And evaluate that in the next couple of months.
We cannot take responsability for the exact translations (I only speak and read a few languages), but nevertheless if it is beneficial to Events users, it will help.
