Ahh, sure I posted a response.

It sounds like you have a failed previous install of the module. So:-
- Unzip the install package
- Find Uninstall.SQLDataProvider
- Copy the conents into the Host/SQL dialogue
- Tick 'Run As Script' and then then the script

You should now be able to install the module.

Hi Rogrr,

I am checking to see if you have a solution for me yet. Is that' true that DNN 7.03 isn't ready for the events module 6.1,1?

Thanks,
Robin

Hi Robin,

My solution for you is as described in my previous post. It seems to me you have a failed install, so you need to clean it up and then re-install. If you then get any errors please post here again.

With regards Events on DNN 7.0.3, it looks like DNN 7 had made some breaking changes in two regards:-

1 - Some radio buttons/check boxes weren't functioning correctly. I have resolved this in teh currently released beta 3.
2 - Some default formatting rules have been changed, which leaves the styling of some dialogues as 'sub-optimal'. I have not fixed this as yet, since that will take some time to work through that I don't have available to me at the moment. These can be worked around by applying an appropriately modified theme to the module.

Cheers
Roger

Should we post our comments here or on Gemini? My only issue is that when you use Anonymous Registration, it's not real clear that a visitor needs to fill out the form and then click the link that is above and to the left of the form.

Hi Mike,

Can post here. We don't use Gemini - we are on CodePlex.

I know Ernst Peter did some changes in that area. Have you got any suggestions on styling? I'm trying to avoid adding a new view, but it that would be the right way forward.

Cheers
Roger
