Timezones can be difficult in a DNN environment: server, site, user, module, event, all with options.

Did you look at the basic documentation about timezones in the Event module? If not, have a look here.

BTW: I am lucky to live in a country without timezones.

Thank you for that link.  The one thing that drives me crazy about DNN is trying to track down up to date information and code.  This is the best documentation I have seen so far.

I had already made those settings, however.  The site, module and even my personal time zones are all set to UTC -5 (US Eastern).  The only thing that is displaying incorrectly is the calendar itself.  I can drill down to the detail and have the time appear correctly.  Is there a setting to just have it display what I input?

Frustrating.

I tried to replicate the problem, but could not do it. Can you switch on the Display Time zone checkbox in the Event settings?

If you want to check what is the database stored, you can query/select/see the field EventTimeBegin in the Events table. Date/time is store as normalized UTC.

Using Display Time Zone fixed it.  Thank you!  I wasn't looking forward to having to switch calendars this close to cutover to production.  Of course, I couldn't reproduce it on my local copy, either.  Now I can go onto the fun part of hunting and updating labels in RESX files. . . .

Thanks so much!

And, again, excellent documentation!
