I have the same problem. I have some records in the PortalLocalization table that does not have a corresponding record in the Portals table and delete them. Then I run the upgrade and worked!.There wasn't any error. But.... when I logon and went to Host->Portals, from the 22 portals I only see 3!! The tables Portals and PortalLocalization seems ok, with their records, but somehow I can't see my portals. Can't see means, don't work, too!! Any ideas?

Hi all,

I'm experiencing the same problem. I notice this is caused by deleting portals not purging these portals references in some tables (table Tabs, PortalLocalization, etc) but physical directory is no longer exist. I don't know either all tables corresponded to these deleted portals.
How to delete these portals manually?
Could somebody give complete corresponded tables? Complete scripts to purge complete portal references in database will be very helpful.

Upgraded to 5.4.2 doesn't help anything, the result some active portals are missing. I'm very sure these deleted portals references must be purged completely from database. If not, upgrading will fail or other active portals will be gone as the result. Please somebody who could help. I think this is very serious issue.

Hi, no luck so far with the upgrade. Hope somebody from DNN core team could resolve this. If they can provide the scripts or tables references to purge all unused portals left in database, it will be very helpful. Then we'll give another try with the upgrade. So far I believe this is caused by some unused portals references are still left in the database. THanks
