Hello all,
I am trying to upgrade my site from 4.9.5 to 5.4.x. I have read that I should upgrade to the 5.2.3 version first.
Im running WinServer 03, SQL Server 05, and I have installed the .NET 3.5 SP1 and .NET 4.0.

When I try to upgrade, I get the following errors:

Upgrading DotNetNuke

Current Assembly Version: 05.02.03

Current Database Version: 04.09.04

Now, when I navigate into the portal, all the HTML modules do not appear to have any content, 'critical errors' are on display in the middle of the page, but all the rest work fine.

Any ideas? Please help!

Thanks!

Try to read  the log file and to detect the problem,
some times it just a wrong data inside the database,if it so delete it and run the script manually

Have you reviewed the log files noted to see what the errors were?

Hello,

Modules on pages such as the TEXT/HTML gives me the error: A critical error has occurred. Most of the pages who were supposed to have content are blank and the above error is repeated on each page.
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

under \Providers\DataProviders\SqlDataProvider I get the following errors:

When I go under the 'Event Log' I can see the following errors:

After this I uninstall the module 'Bonosoft LInks' and the pages seem to appear slightly better (meaning that the modules frames appear but html content shows errors).

I tried to install the newest version of the HTML module but I get the following errors:
