FCK seemed to include localized resources. It contained even resources for Khmer!

Telerik RAD does not have those resources. So, when the switch is made from FCK to Telerik, non-en-US sites have to create tjheir own resource files or miss out on static text (and a couple of buttons). Actually, every update of DNN may makes it necessary to go check your resource files, and this not only for Telerik. Every change in static text requires adaptation of the resource files.

Maybe, for the sake of non-en-US sites, updates should include a list of strings or entries in the resource files that have changed, been added or removed, in order to make the checks on the resource files easier. The problem with Telerik is just a reminder of that.

Which DNN 5.5 seems to have solved with the option "Verify Language Resource Files". (This weekend, I can finally start testing 5.5). It looks like I'll have to eat my shoe. There are even resource files listed for Telerik under Providers but the resource file editor says it has no records to display.

Does that mean we still have to use NotePad to translate Telerik resource files?

Marc, I'm using DNN 5.5.1 and this issue is still present. As you pointed earlier, localization seems to be the problem, but going to en-us is not an option for us, since we offer services to clients in Latin America and they don´t want their interface in English. Could you explain how to fix this issue, I wouldn't mind manually translating some strings.
