Hello everyone:
I performed an upgrade of DNN from version 5.04 to 5.06.02 yesterday, following Will's suggested upgrade path.Except for a long delay while I waited for the browser to refresh during the upgrade, I had no problems. I can access the site which is fully functional (I was able to upgrade all the built-in and third party modules without a problem). All look fine EXCEPT for one very important function: whenever I click to edit an existing HTML module i get this error:

Error: is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Parameter count does not match Parameter Value count. ---> System.ArgumentException: Parameter count does not match Parameter Value count. at Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.Data.SqlHelper.AssignParameterValues(SqlParameter[] commandParameters, Object[] parameterValues) at Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.Data.SqlHelper.ExecuteNonQuery(String connectionString, String spName, Object[] parameterValues) at DotNetNuke.Data.SqlDataProvider.UpdatePortalSetting(Int32 PortalId, String SettingName, String SettingValue, Int32 UserID, String CultureCode) at DotNetNuke.Entities.Portals.PortalController.UpdatePortalSetting(Int32 portalID, String settingName, String settingValue, Boolean clearCache, String culturecode) at DotNetNuke.Entities.Portals.PortalController.UpdatePortalSetting(Int32 portalID, String settingName, String settingValue, Boolean clearCache) at DotNetNuke.Entities.Portals.PortalController.UpdatePortalSetting(Int32 portalID, String settingName, String settingValue) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Html.HtmlTextController.GetMaximumVersionHistory(Int32 PortalID) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Html.EditHtml.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Checking out the forums I have seen others with the same problem. However I already checked the files in the HTML folder, checked the bin folder, and performed the upgrade manually (with the HTML-community zip file) with no success. Since I'm not sure if this is a module problem or a database problem ( or something worse ) I decided to post here.
Any idea or suggestion on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Can you confirm which version of the HTML module is listed on your Host/Extensions page

Hi Chris:
Any idea or update on what may be causing this error?
Fyi my event viewer is showing a more defined error whenever I click to edit an HTML module.
Would it help you to see this? I can take a screen shot but can I post the image in the forum?
Thank you so much for your help.

This appears NOT to be a problem with the HTML module but rather a mismatch between database and assembly versions in the PortalController.UpdatePortalSetting method which is being called by the HTML module's code.

In DNN 5.2.0, an additional column "CultureCode" was added to the PortalSettings table and the UpdatePortalSetting stored procedure modified accordingly. I suspect that the stored procedure did not get properly updated.

Did you receive any error messages during the upgrade? Please check all non-empty upgrade log files (found in the site's \Providers\DataProviders\SQLDataProvider folder and having names such as 05.02.00.log.resources or available from a drop-down list of log files at the bottom of the Host --> Host Settings tab).

Did you obtain backups of the entire installation's file system AND database prior to each upgrade step so that you can roll back if necessary?

Do you have access to the database using a tool such as SQL Server Management Studio and do you feel comfortable connecting to the database and possibly making changes with such a tool?
