I am making some headway on this.  Now I am down to one last problem.<br /> <br /> Using the blank website template that you get by default seems to work just fine except when you include the following:<br /> <tab><br />       <containersrc /><br />       <description>Configure portal Google Analytics settings.</description><br />       <disabled>false</disabled><br />       <enddate>0001-01-01T00:00:00</enddate><br />       <iconfile>~/Icons/Sigma/GoogleAnalytics_16X16_Standard.png</iconfile><br />       <iconfilelarge>~/Icons/Sigma/GoogleAnalytics_32X32_Standard.png</iconfilelarge><br />       <issecure>false</issecure><br />       <visible>true</visible><br />       <keywords /><br />       <pageheadtext /><br />       <permanentredirect>false</permanentredirect><br />       <refreshinterval>-1</refreshinterval><br />       <sitemappriority>0.5</sitemappriority><br />       <skinsrc /><br />       <startdate>0001-01-01T00:00:00</startdate><br />       <name>Google Analytics</name><br />       <title>Google Analytics</title><br />       <url type="Normal" /><br />       <tabpermissions><br />         <permission><br />           <permissioncode>SYSTEM_TAB</permissioncode><br />           <permissionkey>VIEW</permissionkey><br />           <allowaccess>true</allowaccess><br />           <rolename>Administrators</rolename><br />         </permission><br />         <permission><br />           <permissioncode>SYSTEM_TAB</permissioncode><br />           <permissionkey>EDIT</permissionkey><br />           <allowaccess>true</allowaccess><br />           <rolename>Administrators</rolename><br />         </permission><br />       </tabpermissions><br />       <tabsettings /><br />       <parent>Admin</parent><br />       <panes><br />         <pane><br />           <name>ContentPane</name><br />           <modules><br />             <module><br />               <moduleID>476</moduleID><br />               <title>Google Analytics</title><br />               <alltabs>false</alltabs><br />               <inheritviewpermissions>true</inheritviewpermissions><br />               <header /><br />               <footer /><br />               <startdate>0001-01-01T00:00:00</startdate><br />               <enddate>0001-01-01T00:00:00</enddate><br />               <cachetime>0</cachetime><br />               <cachemethod /><br />               <alignment /><br />               <color /><br />               <border /><br />               <iconfile>~/Icons/Sigma/GoogleAnalytics_32X32_Standard.png</iconfile><br />               <visibility>Maximized</visibility><br />               <containersrc /><br />               <displaytitle>true</displaytitle><br />               <displayprint>true</displayprint><br />               <displaysyndicate>false</displaysyndicate><br />               <iswebslice>false</iswebslice><br />               <websliceexpirydate>0001-01-01T00:00:00</websliceexpirydate><br />               <webslicettl>0</webslicettl><br />               <modulepermissions><br />                 <permission><br />                   <permissioncode>SYSTEM_MODULE_DEFINITION</permissioncode><br />                   <permissionkey>EDIT</permissionkey><br />                   <allowaccess>true</allowaccess><br />                   <rolename>Administrators</rolename><br />                 </permission><br />               </modulepermissions><br />               <modulesettings /><br />               <tabmodulesettings><br />                 <tabmodulesetting><br />                   <settingname>hideadminborder</settingname><br />                   <settingvalue>True</settingvalue><br />                 </tabmodulesetting><br />               </tabmodulesettings><br />               <definition>GoogleAnalytics</definition><br />               <moduledefinition>GoogleAnalytics</moduledefinition><br />             </module><br />           </modules><br />         </pane><br />       </panes><br />     </tab><br /> <br /> So basically, the google analyics page and moudle seems to be the problem.  Can anyone think of a reason why in an upgrade from 5.6 to 6.0.2 will cause the google analytics part of the blank website template not work?

the routine is complaining about a string not to be intepreted as an integer number, this might be caused by an invalid text in a setting OR by different language defaults using "," instead of "." as decimal point.

Ok, so where could i change that? Would that be something on the host settings or site settings?

Actually i was thinkin this was a template thing, it turns out it is a google analytics thing. It appears that since the template contained the dotnetnuke google analytics module, that is where i found it. The fact remains is, i can duplicate this error by just simply adding the google analytics module to a page. So, i went from 5.6 to 6.0.2 and somewhere down the way, google analytics stopped working. We do have 2 language packs on this installation (English and Spanish) dont know if this is related, i seem to have thought it was important info at one time then again after reading SEbastian's comment.
