Hi,

I recently tried upgrading my DNN site to 6.1 from 5.1 after taking a backup of all the files and database.

I got an error related to Telerik version and hence restored the Database and reverted back all the DNN files for the site to run as usual in 5.1.

For some reason I am getting the following error.

I restarted the app pool several times after restoring the backup files and database, still I am stuck with error.

Can anyone please suggest me a way to rectify this issue.

Thanks

Dhanajeyan

did you make sure to restore all files as well and remove newly added ones?

Hi Sebastian,

Thanks for the reply, Yes I did  make sure of replacing the old files and removing the new ones.As far as I am aware of, I believe that this error is caused by the DB.

Is there anything else that I am missing. Please let me know.

Thanks

Hi Sebastian,

I got it working now to an extent now, Thanks for the assistance.I deleted all the files and all the Databases and recreated the database and reverted back all the files to a new location, Cleared all the sites in the IIS,Rebooted my system and now I am able to run the site.

Though I am able to run the site and upgrade status shows success,I still get these errors while upgrading,

  Installing Package File FileModuleCachingProvider_05.06.05_Install:  Error!
 Installing Package File FileModuleCachingProvider_05.06.08_Install:  Error!
 Installing Package File MemoryModuleCachingProvider_05.06.05_Install:  Error!
 Installing Package File MemoryModuleCachingProvider_05.06.08_Install:  Error!

Please may I know as why I get these errors and what am I supposed to do to get rid of all these errors.

Thanks

Dhanajeyan
