Hello!

Is there any known issue / bug with URL rewriting on 7.4.0. It does not work anymore as expected (completely correct). Everything was OK on 7.2.2.

Example:

http://www.example.com/my-example-event

redirects to

http://www.example.com/event/ID/10.

URL should "persist" in page URL textbox in browser - that was the default behaviour in DNN 7.2.2 and all previous versions. The same implementation (source code) works on DNN 6 as well.

We are using "DNN core URL rewriter" - no other solutions. Before the upgrade, everything was OK. Any known solutions to this issue? Thank you for your response and kind help.

Just found this post because I happen to see the same thing today. On upgrade my urls brake. I'm sure I've come across this before, just can't remember off the top of my head. Maybe you can?

This url worked before the upgrade.

http://domainname/Détails/tabid/125/catref/izguvTDUgN/ref/StTrur5OeQ/mercedes-a45-amg


after the upgrade the url fails with a 404, but this url works...

http://domainname/Détails/tabid/125/catref/izguvTDUgN/ref/StTrur5OeQ/mercedes-a45-amg.aspx


the url re-writer has got to be the single most item that cause me issues on upgrade.
