this seem to be caused by the container itself, did you make sure, the container does not contain calls to removed controls like SolPartMenu?

Thanks Sebastian. I was using "No Container" on the LKinks (and many other) modules, and indeed it had a call to SolAprt, which I removed. Now I can log in to my test upgrade site!@

Thanks again. I think I have the Container errors under control.

Next error I see is for iFrame. Thanks in advance for any help you might have on this one. Here's the inner stack trace:
