You can check the Schedule History for the search indexer scheduled job to make sure that there aren't any obvious errors in there (via Host->Schedule).

If you're on a local development site, try setting a breakpoint in your ISearchable implementation, and see if it is getting hit (it may take hitting "re-index" a couple of times).  If you're not on a local site, maybe add some notes in the Event Log at various points in the method.

You can also look in the SearchItems & related tables to see if there are any results being added for your module.

Hope it helps,

I will check those things. Thank you.

One other thing in the meantime: I was under the impression that my Press Release items would not populate in the dbo.SearchItem and related tables since the GetSearchItems(...) method pulls data using my PressReleases "GetCurrentPressReleases" function (ie, selecting data from dbo.PressReleases directly) and uses that data to fill the SearchItemsCollection.

Issue resolved. I played with the businesscontrollerclass values for a while (and checking event viewer between each change) and eventually got it to work.

Thank you to all who helped.

Whatever you return from the GetSearchItems method will be stored in the Search* tables.  Those tables are what are referenced whenever a search is done.

Hope that helps,
