J,
It works. Your ASPX comment and the fact you had HTML on the page were the two things I needed to get it going. I did not do it in WAP, so I do not thing that had any impact. So if anyone has my same issue in the future. Write ASPX code (non-dnn) with a codebehind. Place the ASPX in the DNN directory, and that will be your path for the IPN address.

That's it!

Thanks J & everyone else.

Paul,

Good to hear. Now I am interested to know how you get your customer back to your dnn portal since they end up on the aspx page outside dnn. Or am I wrong?

Hmm. Now I am confused: just use the https: etc. will use the ssl of the other party ? So instead of http you use https. Some payment providers do not accept a http request without using https (their certificate). If your site however does not use https on the call, the information is actually still not secured. I hope this clarifies your question.

Check out this article on getting started with SSL http://weblogs.asp.net/scottgu/archive/2007/04/06/tip-trick-enabling-ssl-on-iis7-using-self-signed-certificates.aspx
