Hi I am using the C# dnn web template, I'm just adding some simple text the view.ascx file and building.  When I try to install the install package through the extension wizard I am receiving the following error:

ExceptionSystem.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\site1\DesktopModules\ccAdmin\Providers\DataProviders\SqlDataProvider\00.00.01.SqlDataProvider' is denied. at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) at System.IO.File.SetAttributes(String path, FileAttributes fileAttributes) at DotNetNuke.Common.Utilities.FileSystemUtils.CopyFile(String sourceFileName, String destFileName) at DotNetNuke.Services.Installer.Util.CopyFile(InstallFile installFile, String basePath, Logger log) at DotNetNuke.Services.Installer.Installers.FileInstaller.InstallFile(InstallFile insFile)

I haven't touched the SqlDataProvider file.

which dnn version are you running, did you make sure for aso.Net account to have full file system permission?

I have got the exact same problem today ! I just created a fresh module using the new template, tried to install the source package and got this error:

Run VS as an administrator and see if that helps.

It was IIS permission to the folder, thanks though Mark
