In my observation; its not ACT; but Telerik's *.35's Script manager thats not loading Ajax 4 scripts; when DNN 6.2 is running with .NET4; its sad that given DNN 6.2 is "compatible" with .NET4; its using a third party product thats not "good enough"

As guided; I have started migrating ACT pages to use jQuery / jQuery UI etc; I am stuck at the typical Master > Detail scenario where I want to show Detail in dialog / popup! I have written this minimal ASCX that's when hosted in vanilla ASPX runs perfectly fine; but in DNN its not...I am assuming its again Rad Update Panels or something! Please guide and give pointers what I am missing. In DNN; on postback the Dialog is not "initialized" and Detail grid continue to show along with Master grid

that's not correct - telerik's scriptmanager inherits from MS Ajax's scriptmanager so any code that uses that base class will work fine - ACT used MS Ajax scriptmanager for the first few years and then changed to toolkitmanager (which does not inherit from MS Ajax scriptmanager) - hence the issue, and hence why the problem was with ACT. As to the MS Ajax usage for updatepanels, you can disable that the supports partial rendering setting e.g via http://www.dnnsoftware.com/community-...
