Hello, I am a module developer and up till now I could install my modules in every DNN version, starting from DNN 2.x.

Now I have all of my application modules installed in my DNN 7.3.3 and they work perfect! But when I upgrade this 7.3.3 installation to 7.4.0, all my modules have disappeared from the pages where they were just before!

I tried to find out by looking in the website -> pages menu and look for the modules on that page. They showed in the list, but when I tried to edit them by clicking the pencil icon, the popup, which normally holds the modules settings, is empty.... at least it stops working like it stalls......

Please advise!

most likely, some Settings don't get loaded. Are you using a Default language other than en-US?
In this case you may try downloading https://dnnscript.codeplex.com/releas... and running 07.04.00.sqldataprovider file included - which should not harm your DNN. You may also apply https://dnnscript.codeplex.com/releas..., in case there is an issue in site Settings.
You will need to restart DNN afterwards and don't forget to start with a database backup.

All my modules are in the standard US-us language.....

I applied the scripts as discribed in the ReadMe.

No luck! Altough they ran without errors.

Hello Jos.

I had a similar issue. After updating to 7.4, 2 of my modules were just not appearing on the pages they were inserted in.

Going to module settings through the Extensions settings page and removing the business controller class seems to solve the issue.
