It doesn't include the MVC template the OP is asking about.

He should check out the V6.1 release of my templates that have a working MVC module included in them.

Hello Chris, First thanks for the templates!

For some reason I had to add @inherits directives on the view pages in the MVC Template
eg: @inherits DotNetNuke.Web.Mvc.Framework.DnnWebViewPage<IEnumerable<MyModule.Modules.MVCTest2.Models.Item>>

The @model directive was underlined in red telling me I was missing a reference. and all the @Dnn. methods were as well.

Everything obviously works for you so I must have done something wrong. Any Suggestions?

Thanks, Dan

Dan, be sure to make sure you put the project into the proper path. The MVC project template needs to go into /desktopmodules/MVC/ instead of /desktopmodules/ like the other templates need.

Thanks for the suggestion Chris but I did use that directory. Unfortunatly I am still having the same problem. It just seems that Visual Studio is not loading the web.config to get the basepage definition or the added namespaces.
I can create a new web project (not dnn) and I do see the @model (lowercase m) directive works there.

I am really at a loss as to why this happens.

Dan
