This capability has been added via the categories in the 4.4.2 version of the module. If you specify multiple email addreses as a category, it will send out emails to those addresses setup as the category. I have also introduced the concept of roles to the moderation process - this means that you can setup DNN roles which will be able to moderate posts. If I can receive positive feedback regarding the addition of the roles to the moderation piece, I can easily add them as a default send to option in the 4.4.3 version which should meet your original request...

Sanjay,

The request was for adding the ability to email all members of a security role from the feedback module.  So it appears this capability has NOT been added.

Any update on when this easy addition will be added?

Ryno - the specific feature (of emailing all members of a role) was not added, but we did enhance the ability to send emails to different addresses and from different addresses too. Using categories, you can setup the email addresses you want to send the emails to and can have multiples there too... Would this possibly work for you?

Thanks for the response Sanjay.  It doesn't work for me because I would have to manually add people to the category and there are too many people in the role for this and it changes all the time.  It would be too time intensive for my particular case.

Ryno - I could possibly add it for you in a custom version of the feedback module if you're interested and send that over. I could possibly do this over the weekend and send you over the modifications but this would mean you're using a custom version of the module. The same feature would also be rolled into 5.0.0 which is currently being polished so you wouldn't have to worry about it when you upgrade.
Basically, my thought was that you could add in the SendTo field a value like <ROLE:XXXXXX> where XXXXX would be the name of the role. In the code, I would then check if you've entered a tag starting with <ROLE: and if this is the case, then I would retrieve the list of email addresses for users in that role.
