Sanjay, any reason for not replying to the below thread re. bugs in feedback module.  After six months I had begun to think you didn't even read these forums.

Rip - I do read the forums and try to respond to the threads to the best of my ability. With regards to updates, I have been ready with 4.4.2 (next release of feedback module for about 1 1/2 months now but have held back submitting it for release since I've been asked by the core to include some functionality that they would like to see in the next release). I have repeatedly asked for information pertaining to what they would like to see but so far have been unsuccessful in getting it from the people concerned. Now, it looks like I'm the bad guy not updating the feedback module.

I am aware of the bugs that people have reported with the 4.4.1 release and have them fixed for 4.4.2 (about 90% of them). For 4.4.2, one of the features wanted by the core was the ability to setup the moderation by groups and also the ability to create additional form fields for the feedback module. I am trying to get some guidance from the people who requested this feature to ensure that it gets into the build but have not been successful thus far.

With regards to the bugs tracker - my permissions have not been setup in gemini correctly and I believe I have brought this up to the person in charge's attention in the past. I will take blame for not pressing on this with the person more forcefully but I can not respond or address tickets in gemini till my permissions issue is fixed.

My apologies if it looks like I'm not reading the forums, but trust me when I say I am. I personally do not like the fact that some of the issues reported have already been fixed but I can't say when it will be out. I know there are several threads on when the next release is coming out and I've given deadlines before that have come and gone due to the fact that I had expected to hear back from the neccessary people by a certain date and that didn't happen.

I will say that I am going to submit 4.4.2 this coming friday with or without the features that they've requested and hopefully that will be passed next week by the QA team for public consumption.

Once again, my apologies for apparent non-response on the bugs issues.

Sanjay, thanks for the reply.  My humble apology for laying blame where it is not due.  Thanks for your efforts.  Please let me know if I can help you in any way.

I was asking to see whether there's a core issue on IE with regards to captcha or whether it's isolated to just the feedback module. Can you turn it on just for testing purposes to see if you get the captcha image on IE for the login page?

Sanjay

It was really weird. I turned the login Captcha on and it worked, went to feedback and it worked on both FF and IE.
Did the same on the second site, it worked. Turned login Captcha off - feedback still works.
Upgraded third site - feedback captcha working correctly.
Puzzles me what happened and why but at least it works now.
Thanks for your help.

Chris
