The error "Parameter count does not match Parameter Value count." results from a upgrade issue whereby the SQL stored procedure UpdateUserProfileProperty version's does not match the DotNetNuke version 7 code. The last time this stored procedure was modified was in the DotNetNuke version 6.2.0 upgrade. Although we can possibly correct this single error I am always worried that in such cases other portions of the upgrade did not complete properly. Please answer the following:

  • From what version of DotNetNuke did you upgrade?
  • Did you note any errors during the upgrade? Please check the error log for version 6.2.0 (from the Host --> Host Settings page).
  • Will it be possible to restore the site to pre-upgrade state using a backup of the filesystem and database made prior to the upgrade?
  • Do you have access to the database via a tool such as MS SQL Server Management Studio?
