hi, i can't seem to have the query string parameter working properly. i am using dnn 5.4.4 and assuming that the core extensions are up to date. i.e http://.../Analysis.aspx?search=11112 (host dnn page name) iFrame settings Name: search Value: Pass-through querystring (even tried pass-through form post) Add args: search http://..../Results.aspx?search=11112 (page within iFrame) i can see the values being persisted and in iFrame_Parameters table but the internal page remains blank. when i manually type in the search page, it has the search parameter. Your help is appreciated. thanks, kashif

1. Choose Pass-Through QueryString
2. Under Name (textbox on left) type in a name of parameter as you WANT it to be in the NEW QueryString
3. Under Value (textbox on right) type in a name of parameter as it will "arrive" to the DNN page - before IFrame module will start processing it.

Now, if you are having a problem, check the SRC parameter of IFRAME tag. Does it show url to your IFrame'd page the way you want it?

Thank you for your reply.  The website within the iFrame is an external website and i dont have the source.  After inquiring with their team, their is a line of code in their page_load method that checks for QueryString and HTTPMethod (GET) before parsing and fetching data.  when loaded in an iframe, there would be no event neither 'GET' nor 'POST'.  if this is true, then how would we get around that? or do i need to ask their team to see if they can change their implementation? don't know, but the latter seems quite difficult if there implementation heavily relies on that.

regards,
kashif

If their page is expecting parameters to be passed to it, just ask them what names should you use and that's it.
